Ephesians 5:8 “For once you were filled with darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light.” (NLT)
Father – What does “live as people of light” mean?
Child – You presently live in a dark world. But you, who were once filled with that same darkness, have been washed clean by the blood of My Lamb and transferred into the kingdom of light. All is new in your spirit world.
Now you are to walk in the His light, with a new attitude in your heart, soul, and mind. However, there are old habits that still cling to you. Anger, bitterness, grudges, hurts and unforgiveness try to pull you back into the darkness.
Pay attention to your inner peace. As soon as you realize this peace is being disrupted, come to Me and I will give you rest. You must choose what you will think about today because the battlefield is in your mind. The enemy sets up snares against you through others around you. How will you react?
It’s always your choice. Do you stay upset or do you seek peace? How quickly do you recognize the attack and the attacker? There is a spiritual battle going on to steal your peace and your effective witness for Me. Recognize the true battle and the true enemy.
Put on the armor. Be alert. Your enemy is relentless and his time is growing short. The battle intensifies, but be of good cheer for I, the Greater One, live in you. I enable you to overcome all the attacks!
When you walk in the Spirit you walk in the light. I am leading and I AM light. Don’t be afraid for I am holding your right hand. Picture that and walk secure in Me and My presence. You have been given all you need to overcome your enemy. Use it!
